A spectacular IKEA retrospective
on rails for the 50th anniversary

Who has seen the world's only IKEA store on rails? Well, not exactly, but in the typically eye-catching attire that we all recognize as IKEA's "blue boxes," the latest fully wrapped VBZ Cobra tram arrives in the city of Zurich. On behalf of the erdmannpeisker agency, we had the privilege of dressing an entire Cobra tram in the appearance of the Swedish furniture store for the 50th anniversary of IKEA Switzerland. 

From the distinctive exterior facade to the depicted design classics from five decades, to the well-known SMÅLAND ball pit in the lounge, this rolling retrospective features everything that delights IKEA fans. Christinger AG supported this project from consultation through the entire production to the final application on the tram. The result is truly remarkable and adds a new visual delight to the city of Zurich.
